sitting in a tree high on downward motivation
and so does she also full of expectation
promised it would be something really special
but so suddenly feel the blood stream in my vessels

and now i am light headed

lying in a bed draped in endless cotton covers
trying to be a friend so we won't end up as lovers
and then accidently at the door appears her mother
in my defence saying she wasn't just another

and now i am light headed
i'm becoming light headed

i get up too fast
or get down too slowly
all my words recast
i'm drifting away
all the talk and shouting
flows around my head
and my vision wanders

picking up a tune that somebody else was singing
breathing in the fumes underground where they are swinging
sleeping on the tube i can feel my back stinging
creeping up the steps to place i think i'm living

and i feel light headed
